Terms Of Service

SEND services are available from 8am to 6pm everyday. In the future we may extend our coverage time. SEND reserves the right to make changes to this terms without notice. SEND also reserves the right to refuse the user or any other customer service.

In the event we provide ETAs, they would be estimates and might initially be inaccurate.

Our riders will pick up and deliver any item that a normal human can carry with max weight of about 15 kilograms. This means oversized items are not covered in our scope of delivery as our riders would be on bike. If they refuse to accept an item because it is overweight or among the restricted items, a cancellation fee would apply. Pls follow the guides on our website/app and don't try to game the system.

Picking Up

  • Our riders might require a pickup code to accept the item and commence delivery
  • Our riders reserve the right to refuse to accept any item in their sole discretion
  • Our riders will not purchase items for delivery.

RESTRICTED ITEMS

You may NOT send the following below for delivery:

  • People or animals of any size
  • Illegal items
  • Fragile items
  • Very expensive or rare items
  • Dangerous items (weapons, explosives, flammable, etc.)
  • Stolen goods
  • Any items for which you do not have permission to send

Delivery Guarantee

SEND will guarantee lost or damaged items up to N25,000 except for RESTRICTED ITEMS for which no guarantee applies EXCEPT FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE DUE TO A RIDER'S GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT (FOR WHICH THE GUARANTEE SET FORTH ABOVE SHALL APPLY), SENDER [YOU] IS FULLY RESPONSIBLE AND LIABLE FOR THE ITEMS SENT FOR DELIVERY BY RIDER HEREUNDER. OUR LIABILITY TO SENDER [YOU] SHALL IN NO EVENT EXCEED N25,000.

You can track the rider with on your delivery with our web or mobile app.

Communicating with Your Rider

  • Sending a text message is the best way to communicate with our rider with your items.
  • Text detailed pickup instructions if getting into the building isn’t easy and straightforward
  • If you call them and they don't pick up, send a text message indicating you are the sender. They would call you back.

Chain of Custody

There must be someone at the delivery address to receive your item(s). In order to complete delivery, our rider must get a dropoff code from the recipient of the item. This code would be sent automatically when the sender(you) requested the delvery.

If no one is available at the delivery address, our rider returns the item(s) and the sender[you] will be billed full delivery fee + a return fee

Cancellation and Fulfillment Policy

  • If no one is present at your pickup location, a cancellation fee will apply
  • If no one is present at your delivery location, our rider will wait 10 minutes before returning your item. The sender[you] will be responsible for full delivery fee + return fee.
  • Any delivery requested without recipient present will require text message confirmation from sender stating no recipient is necessary
  • If no one is present at delivery location and sender[you] is also unavailable when item is returned, sender is liable as our rider will leave item at original pickup location and sender [you] will be responsible for full delivery fee + return fee.
